DEF LEPPARD Singer Talks DOWN 'N' OUTZ With U.K.'s ROCK RADIO (Audio)

Ricky Kirby of U.K.'s Rock Radio conducted an interview with DEF LEPPARD singer Joe Elliott on April 21, 2011 when DOWN 'N' OUTZ a project fronted by Elliott, backed by THE QUIREBOYS and playing rare tracks connected only by MOTT THE HOOPLE supported Paul Rodgers at the Apollo in Manchester, England. DOWN 'N' OUTZ made its first live DVD, "Live At The Hammersmith Odeon", available last month at merchandise stands at shows on the British PAUL RODGERS/DOWN 'N' OUTZ tour. Shot at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo Hammersmith Odeon in London on October 6, 2009 when DOWN 'N' OUTZ opened for the reunited MOTT THE HOOPLE, the DVD was made available in a limited edition of only 500 copies, all of which were personally signed and numbered by Joe and the rest of the band.

Last July, DOWN 'N' OUTZ released its debut album, "My ReGeneration", featuring covers of songs by MOTT THE HOOPLE, Ian Hunter and BRITISH LIONS, the music DOWN 'N' OUTZ performed as the support act for MOTT THE HOOPLE at one of the legendary band's 2009 reunion shows.

"Overnight Angels", the latest video from DOWN 'N' OUTZ, can be viewed below. The clip was directed by Lee Ford.

"My ReGeneration" was produced by Joe Elliott, with co-production by Ronan McHugh, and was recorded at Elliott's own studio Joe's Garage and Moor Hall studio in Bedfordshire.
